Guacamole. Ah what can I say about thee? You are everything I want out of a chip dip, you make me feel I’m being healthy even when sometimes I’m not (not pictured: half empty bag of tortilla chips, or half full depending on your outlook.) You are the best addition to any fajita and rival any sandwich condiment.
Made completely of avocados, which are fabulous for skin and hair (haven’t you seen Sarah Jessica Parker’s commercials?), guacamole offers the best of both worlds revolving flavor and health.
Avocados have special qualities that act as incentives for people to eat them. I for one am totally in favor of these awesome little (or big) bonuses I receive from eating such a quality piece of food. Rich in potassium and B vitamins, as well as vitamins K and E, avocados are a nutrient filled fruit with a high fat content (the good kind) and have been associated with lowering cholesterol levels. Oh yeah avocados are freaking delicious, did I mention that?! You can rest assured flavor is a priority for this mouth.

worlds best guacamole
Prep Time: 5 mins
- 1 1/2 avocado, diced
- ~ 2 tablespoons yellow or white onion, finely diced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- ~1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
- Cut open the avocado. I find it the easiest to slice the avo in the middle, then spin it once around the knife and pull apart. Dice avo, onion, tomato, and chop cilantro. Throw everyone except the tomato into the bowl, squeeze lime on top and gently mix. Fork mash ’till you reach desired chunky level, add tomatoes and gently toss.
- Dunk chip in, scoop out.
