Welcome 2012 with Green

Posted on January 3rd, 2012  |  3 Comments

What was your New Years resolution?

Lose weight?

Exercise?

Go green?

Well I’m here to help you on that last part, the other two not so much just yet, though I’m leaving Miami today and getting back to the grind tomorrow. 18-year-old Lauren cannot believe that 26-year-old Lauren wants to get back to a routine, but I do. Deal with it 18-year-old, your time will come.

So, looking for some tips on how to be more green?

How about clean green. How about good ‘ol vinegar clean. Water too. With lime or lemon.

Add a few drops of essential oils for a more pleasant odor.

Get cleaning!

Oh yeah and just in case you thought this wasn’t a tough enough cleaner for your messy house (mine’s messy too, it’s okay.) Let me tell you, it is!

This junk cleaned my stove top like no other.

It’s also super cheap. Super duper cheap. And you know you won’t be inhaling fumes of who knows what, killing who knows how many brain cells, having who knows what kind of affect on your long-term health.

I want to know.

Vinegar for me.

How ’bout you?

  1. Love this post! I have recently been greening my home as well. http://inherchucks.com/2011/11/29/going-green/. However, making your own solution takes it to a whole new level. Thanks for sharing :) And Happy New Year!
