Happy Monday!

How ya feeling?

Head hurt a little? Tummy still a bit full? Ego’s crushed cause Tom Brady didn’t pull through with the W?

I’ve the remedy for you!

Freshly juiced carrots, beets, celery, grapefruit, oranges, apples, cabbage, broccoli, just to name a few.

Beets according to whfoods.com are full of a unique phytonutrient called betanin which provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxification benefits.

They also offer a good dose of potassium, calcium, folate and vitamin C. Pretty sure I’m missing some of those.

Cabbage, when eaten raw or non-microwaved steamed, offers cancer prevention in the form of glucosinolates and cholesterol lowering properties.

Don’t forget the vitamin C, K and dietary fiber, this here cruciferous vegetable is perfect for taking out the bad and getting in with the good.

Juice away the weekend with this nutrient buster drink.

Feel refreshed and re-energized to conquer the day!

And then go to bed early tonight, you’ll be golden tomorrow. :)

*A typical recipe for two (as a breakfast replacement with a small snack 2-3 hours later): 2 beets with tops, 2 oranges, 2 green apples, 1 broccoli head/stalk, 2 swiss chard leaves, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 1/4 head cabbage. feel free to experiment with your favorite fruits and veggies and make any delicious creation you wish!
